Radoslav GerganovandGitHub bcf7546160 server : add arg for disabling prompt caching (#18776)
* server : add arg for disabling prompt caching

Disabling prompt caching is useful for clients who are restricted to
sending only OpenAI-compat requests and want deterministic
responses.

Radoslav GerganovandGitHub 15d2b46b4d rpc : cache and reuse compute graphs (#15405)
Store the last computed graph and reuse it when possible.
Also do not return response from GRAPH_COMPUTE and assume it always
completes successfully. If this this is not the case, the server closes
the connection. This saves us a network round trip to the server.

Radoslav GerganovandGitHub 41386cf365 rpc : report actual free memory (#16616)
* rpc : report actual free memory

Start reporting the free memory on every device instead of using
fixed values. Now llama-cli users can get a nice memory breakdown
when using RPC devices.

Radoslav GerganovandGitHub 68ee98ae18 server : return HTTP 400 if prompt exceeds context length (#16486)
In streaming mode when prompt exceeds context length, the server returns
HTTP 200 status code with a JSON error in the body. This is very
confusing and inconsistent with all other inference engines which return
HTTP 4xx error in this case.

This patch fixes this problem and makes the server return HTTP 400 in
such cases.

Radoslav GerganovandGitHub c556418b60 llama-bench : use local GPUs along with RPC servers (#14917)
Currently if RPC servers are specified with '--rpc' and there is a local
GPU available (e.g. CUDA), the benchmark will be performed only on the
RPC device(s) but the backend result column will say "CUDA,RPC" which is
incorrect. This patch is adding all local GPU devices and makes
llama-bench consistent with llama-cli.

Radoslav GerganovandGitHub 553a5c3a9f rpc : do not wait for response when sending RPC_CMD_SET_TENSOR (#12943)
RPC_CMD_SET_TENSOR always returns an empty response and we send this 4
times per token. We can improve TG speed if we don't wait for this empty
response.

The performance impact of this change depends on the network latency.
